Colne Park High School applied for a grant in June 2024 which was used to purchase new outdoor play equipment. After negotiation with regular users of The Sanctuary (Park's SEND garden), the students decided that they would like two new netball posts, a badminton set with shuttlecocks, footballs and small soft balls so that they could play tennis. The photograph below shows two of the students with some of the equipment purchased. All of the students who access the garden at social times were thrilled to receive the new equipment this week. Special mention goes to Dylan Johnson who helped to assemble the netball posts.
